Creating a new project

Here's how to create a new project.

Press and hold the [MENU] button for two seconds or longer to access the MAIN
MENU screen.
In Menu mode (p. 49), for example, when the PROJECT EDITOR screen or the FILE
MANAGER screen is displayed, you can press the [EXIT] button several times to access
the MAIN MENU screen.

Use the [ PREV][NEXT
[ENTER] button.
The PROJECT EDITOR screen will appear.

About projects
Don't insert or remove a
CompactFlash card while a
menu screen is shown (i.e.,
in Menu mode). Doing so
may damage the data on
the CompactFlash card.
In the screen, project
names will be shown in
locations corresponding to
the visual pads to which a
project has already been
assigned. If no project has
been assigned, this area
will indicate "—-."
Press the [EXIT] button to
return to the MAIN
MENU screen.
Alternatively, you can
press the [MENU] button
to return to Play mode.
