Advanced Features
repeat playback
You can playback a section of tape over and over using repeat playback. The
tape will play until the next index mark, rewind to the previous index mark,
and resume playing. If there is only one index mark on the tape, then the VCR
will play or rewind to that mark and resume playback. If there is no index
mark, the entire cassette will repeat.
1
Press AUDIO/VIDEO on the remote control to display the function menu.
Press AUDIO/VIDEO until the Repeat play function appears.
2
To start the playback, press ENTER.
When the VCR encounters the next mark or the end of the tape, it will
automatically rewind to the previous mark and begin playback again.
The VCR will also search for a blank section of tape. If the VCR
encounters any blank sections longer than 4 seconds in length, the repeat
playback will begin.
3
Press STOP to cancel the repeat.

Using PrograManager

PrograManager feature allows you to memorize the channel, month, date, hour
and minutes of the programs you have recorded, and displays the list to confirm
the contents of the tapes or to search the program you want to playback.
The recorded contents of any recording mode (normal / timer / OTR / OTR
will be memorized in the VCR when the program is recorded for more than 5
minutes in SP mode, 15 minutes in EP mode. Before ejecting the tape, you have
to set the tape number for that tape, and then the VCR memorizes the con-
tents of it. This memorized data will be displayed and be used repeatedly when
this tape is loaded again and its tape number is entered.
The VCR can memorize the contents up to 10 tapes (12 programs per tape at
the maximum). You can enter or erase the contents of each tape.
If you set the PrograManager in the Customize Choices menu to AUTO, the
screen to decide whether you set the tape number will appear when the tape is
loaded. To avoid forgetting to set the tape number, this screen will reappear
when the tape is ejected and its tape number is not set. See page 50 for more
information on auto mode.
Memorizing the contents of the tape of which data is
memorized for the first time
If it is the first time you memorize the data for that tape, you have to set the
tape number before ejecting the tape. Once the tape number has been set, the
contents of that tape will be memorized automatically when ejecting the tape.
You can set the tape number either before of after recording.
Make sure that the clock has been set correctly before memorizing the
contents of the tape.
