Installation and Operating Instructions

The installation must only be done by an electrician with the appropriate qual-
ifications.

Read this manual carefully before starting the installation work.

Follow the instructions in this manual, and make sure that the installation com-
plies with national safety regulations, installation methods and restrictions.

user from responsibility to follow all applicable safety regulations.

This manual is a part of the product and must be stored in a safe location so
that it is available for future installation and service.
WARNING
Danger of electric shock! Risk of fire!

Disconnect the power supply before any installation and maintenance work on this
thermostat and associated components.
•
Do not switch on the power supply before the installation work is completed.
•
Improper installation can cause personal injury and property damage.
•
Do not operate a defect thermostat.

Note! If you want to use the thermostat as a room or combination thermostat, you need
to order an additional room sensor, product number ECOAC2.
3.
Installation
3.1.
Mount the thermostat onto a DIN-rail.
3.2.
The thermostat does not have a main switch on the product itself. Install a main
switch elsewhere in the circuit.
3.3.
Connect the thermostat in accordance with figure 1.
•
The thermostat has screw connectors. The stripping length is 8mm.
•
Connect the floor sensor to the Floor S1 and S2 connectors.
•
Connect the room sensor to the Room S1 and S2 connectors.
•
Connect external temperature control to the connector marked with ΔT. You can
use any phase for the external temperature control. The default for external con-
trol is 10 °C. You can modify the settings with the Ensto Heat Control application.
