Programmable GPS Speedometer Sending Unit

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

Note: Automotive circuit connectors are the preferred method of connecting wires. However,
you may also solder if you wish.
Ground - Black Connect the ground wire directly to the engine block. Be sure to
thoroughly clean the contact areas to ensure a good connection.
Power - Red Connect to a switched +12V source (such as the ignition circuit).
Speedometer - White Connect to the speedometer gauge. If using an Intellitronix gauge,
the wire will be white on the gauge.
Recall - Grey (Optional) Connect to a pushbutton switch with the other terminal connected
to a ground source.

CONFIGURATION

There are two DIP switches on the circuit board, which allow you to configure the number
of pulses per mile that the sending unit will generate. These settings are:
S1
OFF
ON
OFF
ON
Note: There are two (2) separate settings for 16,000 pulses. Both work correctly.
Note: The first time the GPS receiver is turned on it might take up to 15 minutes to detect its location
and start communicating with the circuit. There will not be any delay once the unit is wired. The
following LED indicators are designed for easy status detection:
Red - Power On; Yellow - Data Link with Satellite; Green – Unit is Receiving Data.
