(1) M, L and LL sizes pocket setting + Pedal operation A (U081 : 82 • 83 • 84, U239 : A)
* For the M, L and LL pocket sizes, only the amount of forward travel of the pocket clamp is different
respectively. The pedal is operated in the same manner regardless of the pocket size.
1) When the garment body is placed on the
sewing machine and the pedal switch A is
depressed, the garment body clamp comes
down.
When the pedal switch A is depressed
again, the garment body clamp goes up.
2) When the pocket cloth is placed on the
sewing machine and the pedal switch B
is lightly depressed with the garment body
clamp lowered, the pocket clamp moves
forward.
When the pedal switch B is released with
the pocket clamp moved forward and lifted,
the pocket clamp moves backward.
3) When the pedal switch B is fully depressed
with the pocket clamp moved forward, the
pocket clamp is lowered and kept in that
position.
When the pedal switch B is fully de-
pressed again, the pocket clamp goes up.
4) When the pedal switch C is depressed
with the garment body clamp lowered and
the pocket clamp moved forward and low-
ered, the sewing machine starts sewing.
