Oil Level
First see Removing the Side
Covers (p. 48). Only left side
needed.
1� First make sure that the engine
is leveled� On the left side of the
saw, remove the dipstick and
wipe it clean with a cloth before
reinserting the dipstick�
2� Remove the dipstick� The oil level
should be between the lines�
Hoses and Clamps
1� Check hoses and clamps for
damage or looseness�
2� Look for leakage on fuel,
hydraulics and cooling system�
Tighten or replace if necessary�
Air Cleaner Restriction
Indicator
1� Check air cleaner restriction
indicator� If indicator is red,
continue with steps 2-3�
2� Remove the rear cover�
3� Remove the primary air filter.
4� Clean the filter by blowing air
through the element from the
inside out�
Warning! Only use the lowest
possible air pressure to remove
the dust without damaging the
element�
Use 42 - 71 PSI (0,29 - 0,49 MPa;
3,0 - 5,0 kgf/cm²) compressed air
to remove the particels
Replace if damaged� Never use a
broken filter.
