(e.g. concrete walls). In case of using the plugs: use the mounting plate to mark the location to drill holes. If needed a drilling template is available on https://genexis.eu/product/ fibertwist/downloads#bracket Drill holes and insert the plugs. Screw the mounting plate to the wall with the long screws.

Mount mounting plate to the wall (continued) Mount with pre-attached tape: • Remove the protective layer of the tape. • Press the mounting plate firmly on the wall surface with the tape towards the wall for about 10 seconds. • When mounting plate is taped you can continue with the installation of the Bracket-2.

Adjust length of external fiber patch cable (optional) To get some extra length of the cable when your patch cable is pre- installed, you can remove one or two circles of the rolled fiber. By default the fiber is rolled up in 3 circles. Rear view with pre-installed patch cable...

Position Bracket-2 on mounting plate 1. Position the guidance pins of the bracket centered on the insert at top of the mounting plate (see dashed rectangle in image below). 2. Place the Bracket-2 in an angle and push the bottom side Bracket-2 towards the wall surface.

Finish installation • Connect the loose end of the patch cable to your fiber outlet. • Remove the remaining protective cap from the FiberTwist coupler. • Install the active unit as described in the installation guide of the active FiberTwist product.

Remove Bracket-2 from mounting plate The Bracket-2 can be removed when the active device is still installed. 1. Disconnect any cables from your active device. 2. Press and hold the unlock button on the bottom side (see images below). 3. Angle the Bracket-2 towards you, so that you can remove the Bracket-2 from the mounting plate.

Remove taped mounting plate from wall surface 1. Take a flat object, like a knife, that can help you to come in-between the tape and the wall surface. 2. Pull this flat object in-between the tape and wall towards you, so that the mounting plate will come loose from the wall surface.
