1 Developing unit

Developing unit removal
Open the left side cover.

Remove the waste toner bag.

Remove the black plastic cover at the left hand side (3 screws).

Disconnect the toner concentration sensor 05B1.

Disconnect connector 05X1 (toner supply motor 05M1).

Remove the toner dosage unit (1 screw).

Take care not to spill toner.

Open the fuser unit.

Loosen the 2 screws from the protection cover.

Lift the protection cover and turn it to the rear.

Open the right side cover ( 3 screws).

Disconnect the bias connector from the developing unit.

Lower the paper feed table.

Remove the original feed table (1 screw).

Remove the developing unit protection cover.

Remove the left and right bracket (2 screws).
15
Remove the 2 screws (left and right) from the developing unit.

Slide the developing unit to the front and remove it.
17
Keep the developing unit in a horizontal position!
