Pour the developer evenly into the unit while turning the left gear of the devel-

oping roller clockwise by hand (right-hand side).
Close the upper lid.

Remove the drum drive belt (right hand side).

Slide off the toothed belt pulley from the drum.

Slide the drum to the front and put it in the groove.

Remove the protection sheet from the drum.

Slide the drum back into its original position.

Mount the toothed belt pulley to the drum (watch the pin).

Mount the drum drive belt.

Place the developing unit so that it is aligned onto the frame (See figure).

Keep the developing unit in a horizontal position!
Note:

Replace both the screws hand tight.

Make sure that at the right side there is no play between:

The developing unit and the drum flanges (See figure)

The drum flanges and the frame (See figure)

It must not be possible to move the drum.

Tighten the screw at the right.

Repeat steps

Check by hand that there is no play between the developing unit and the drum.

Connect the toner concentration sensor 05B1.

Place the toner dosage unit

Connect connector 05X1 (toner supply motor 05M1).

Mount the black plastic cover at the left hand side (3 screws).

Place the 2 stickers on the black plastic cover.

Place the waste-toner bag.

Connect the bias connector from the developing unit.
