8.0 TROUBLESHOOTING

The NEBUFIRST INHALER was subjected to a thorough inspection prior to delivery. Should a malfunction nevertheless arise,

you may possibly be able to rectify it yourself if you observe the following instructions.
Symptom of malfunction
Device fails to start
operating
Medication is not
sufficiently nebulised
Possible cause
The mains plug is not well seated.
Motor has overheated as a result of insuffi-
cient cooling.
Air tube is kinked.
The nebuliser nozzle is blocked.
Fluid in air tube.
Quantity of medication is too low.
Remedy
Check all plug connections. Observe the
indicator light; this must be lit if connection
has been correctly established.
Switch off the device, disconnect the mains
plug!
Keep the ventilation slits free from
obstructions.
Wait until the motor has cooled down.
Use the air tube in such a way that no kinks
can occur.
Clean in accordance with Section 6.1.3/
6.1.4 or replace the nebuliser.

Check dosage.
