In this regard, observe the instructions already mentioned in this
section as well as the respective disinfectant manufacturers'
instructions for use.
Thorough cleaning should always be performed prior to
disinfection, if such is required. As a general rule, disinfection
is advisable to prevent cross-infection and is also advisable if
the device is used in inpatient situations (e.g. hospitals, nursing
homes and/or other health care facilities), in order to limit the
risk of infections.
