Peripheral Management Setup
The PCI Pentium S4 system board has a on-board super I/O that
supports 2 serial ports and 1 parallel port. It also provides an FDC
controller that supports diskette drive A/B exchange feature. This
Setup utility screen lets you control the on-board I/O ports and
FDC.
1. Double-click on the Peripheral Mgmt icon and
2. Select items using the mouse or keyboard. With

Programming Mode

is no ISA super I/O card or if the ISA
super I/O card is using COM3 &
COM4, then the on-board serial port
will be set to COM1 & COM2.
For the parallel port, the BIOS checks
first if there is an ISA card that uses
LPT1, in which case the on-board serial
