Warning
Before installing the system, check that its supporting base is suf-
fi ciently resistant and level. With reference to the following fi g-
ures, anchor the external unit's base to the ground, using anchor
bolts (2 pairs of M10 bolts).
If the external unit is exposed to the wind, shield it and check that
it works properly.

1. Routing the cables

To allow the passage of cables, remove, with the help of a screwdriver,
the pre-cut pieces of the external unit frame.
To remove the material effectively, do not remove the unit front panel.
Before passing the cables, position the black cable clamps blacks pro-
vided in the documentation envelope.
2. Condensation drain hose and pre-cut holes on the base of
external unit
If the condensation is to be discharged by a drain hose, use a commer-
cially available hose (ID 16 mm) on the hose connection (3).
If the installation is in a very cold area, with heavy snow fall or con-
ditions in which the drain hose may freeze, make sure to check the
draining capacity of the hose itself.
The drain capacity increases if the pre-cut holes on the base of the
external unit act as condensation outlets (open all holes with a ham-
mer (4)).
