Maintenance Schedule
MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES IN THE TABLE BELOW ARE TO BE PERFORMED BY
AUTHORIZED SERVICE PERSONNEL ONLY. HOWEVER THE ONUS IS ON YOU, THE
OWNER OR OPERATOR OF THE EQUIPMENT, TO SCHEDULE THE SUGGESTED
MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY WHEN REQUIRED.

Description of Preventative Maintenance
1.
Clean and re-grease all HV connections using vapour proof
compound.
2.
Clean the control console, remote fluoro control (if used) and main
cabinet as needed. REFER TO NEXT PAGE, CLEANING, BEFORE
PROCEEDING
3.
Perform the X-ray tube auto calibration routine.
4.
Verify the calibration of the generator.
5.
Perform any additional tests required by laws governing this
installation.
1.
Examine the following for any visible damage and replace any
damaged components:
The exterior of the control console and remote fluoro control if
used, including the membrane switch assembly.
The cable between the control console and the generator main
cabinet and between the remote fluoro control (if used) and
generator main cabinet.
The handswitch and fluoro footswitch (if used) and the cables
connecting these to the console.
2.
Open the generator cabinet and examine the unit for any visible
damage: missing or loose ground connections, oil leaks, damaged
cables etc.
3.
Ensure that there are no obstructions blocking the ventilation holes at
the top of the cabinet, or the louvers on the front door panels.
Replace the lithium batteries on the CPU board in the control console and
on the generator CPU board in the main cabinet with the same
manufacturer and type as identified on the original batteries.
