5 Conditions for Compliance with EC Directives
5.1 Conditions for Compliance with the EMC
Directive
For a Servomotor and SERVOPACK combination to comply with the EMC
Directive, ferrite cores, Noise Filters, Surge Absorbers, and possibly other
devices must be used. These Yaskawa products are designed to be built into
equipment. Therefore, you must implement EMC measures and confirm com-
pliance for the final equipment. The applicable standards are EN 55011 group 1
class A, EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-4, and EN 61800-3 (category C2, second
environment).
