Instrument Setup

Establish Sample Flow

1 Open the flow regulating valve.
2 Wait until the flow cell is completely filled.
3 Switch on power.
NOTICE: To allow a precise measurement in the range
between 18 –18.18 MΩ, set the sample flow to 70–100 l/h.

Programming

Set all necessary parameters in menu 5 <Installation>, further infor-
mation about sensor parameters see
 Flow measurement
 Measuring Mode
 USP Operating Mode
 Sensor parameters
 Temperature compensation
 Program all parameters for external devices (interface, re-
corders, etc.). Program all parameters for instrument opera-
tion (limits, alarms). See

 None
 Q-Flow
 Q-HFlow
Q-Flow can be used for flow rates up to 25 l/h.
Q-HFlow can be used for flow rates up to 120 l/h.
