    INTRODUCTION ENGINEERED TO PERFORM On the cutting edge of innovation, The Double Inertia Occupant Belt consist of a unique 2-in-1 occupant securement system. Each component is designed, engineered and tested to work as one cohesive unit. Keeping the passenger’s safety in mind, the Double Inertia Occupant Belt retractor will lock the occupant securement belts in case of a sudden stop or if the vehicle is on a 15 degree slope—allowing the passenger to stay seated and in place.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS SECURING WHEELCHAIR 1. Center wheelchair facing forward in Securement Zone and lock wheelchair brakes (or power off electric chair) (A). Securement Zone 2. Attach 4 Retractors into Floor Anchorage points and lock them in place, with an approximate distance of 1219mm to 1371mm (48”- 54”) between the front and rear retractors (B).

Attach Buckle Stalk into Floor Anchorage behind Retractor nearest aisle with a gap of 12.7mm to 38.1mm (½” to 1½”) and lock it in place.     EMERGENCY RELEASE 1. Unhook Shoulder Belt Pin Connector from Pin on Lap Belt. Unbuckle Blue Shoulder Belt from Buckle on Upper Anchorage Belt. Allow the Double Inertia Occupant Belt reel to slowly retract the blue shoulder belt into stowage (EE). 2.

Press (and hold, if applicable) the Red Release Lever on each Retractor to release the webbing, detach J-Hooks from wheelchair and slowly return webbing to Retractors (JJ). 5. Remove all 4 retractor (KK). If retractors do not release the webbing, in an emergency cut the front and rear webbings at an angle (LL).
