CAUTION Ensure the circuit breaker on the AC distribution box is set to Off before connecting the power cord.
NOTE All cable ports on the base unit, and on other Intergraph equipment, are keyed to ensure proper cable
attachment. If a cable does not attach easily, ensure that you are correctly aligning the cable
connector with the port.
11. Connect the cables and power cords to the peripherals (concentrator and AC distribution box) as
necessary.
12. Press the locked rail tabs and slide the base unit back into the rack. After the base unit slides
back a few inches, the base unit and rails slide together as a unit into the rack.
13. Install the remaining screws through the handle brackets and secure the base unit to the rack.
14. Connect the external peripheral cables to the base unit and to the peripheral devices, as
necessary. Refer to the following figure.
NOTE The base unit ports have PC 95 compliant labels. When connecting a multimedia keyboard to the
base unit, the cable labeled Mic connects to the microphone jack, and the cable labeled Audio
connects to the line out jack.
