IMPORTANT! Do not provide these setup
instructions to the patient. Only qualified
medical professionals should access these
device settings.
Follow these instructions to access the device
settings and prepare the device for patient use.
All settings have pre-set values as shown below.
First - With the device pow-
ered and turned off, press and
hold the DOWN and DELAY
buttons.
Second - While holding the
two buttons, press the ON/
OFF button. The display will
show "Clinical Menu". You
can now access the Clinical
Setup Menu.
Menu Item Description
AutoAdjust Mode Clinical Menu
Language Select device language.
Selection
Operating Adjust mode to AutoAdjust or CPAP as prescribed by
Mode doctor.
Range: AutoAdjust, CPAP
Upper Maximum pressure level that will be administered by the
Limit device.
Range: Lower Limit to 20 cmH
Lower Minimum pressure level that will be administered by the
Limit
device.
Range: 3.0 cmH 0 to Upper Limit, increments of 0.5

Delay
During delay the pressure remains at Lower Limit and
Time the algorithm continues to detect events, but no pres-
sure changes are made.
Range: 0-45 minutes, increments of 5
Pressure The device operating pressure may be displayed in one
Unit of three pressure units: cmH
Tubing The device is supplied with air supply tubing of 1.8 m
Length (6 ft) in length. The device may also be operated with air
supply tubing of 3 m (10 ft). This setting should be
updated to match the tubing length for maximum
pressure accuracy.
Compliance Cumulative hours of "while breathing" time.

CPAP Mode Clinical Menu

Delay Select period of time to stay at delay pressure. This

Range: 0-45 minutes, increments of 5
Delay If prescribed, set to a level that is comfortable for the

for the first portion of the delay time and rises to the set
pressure in the last 10 minutes of the delay time.

Quick Set-Up Guide
Menu Item Description
Tubing The device is supplied with air supply tubing of 1.8 m

Auto-ON
0 This option controls the Auto-ON feature, which

automatically starts the flow of air after breathing once
or twice into the mask
0 Auto-OFF This option controls the Auto-OFF feature, which

automatically stops the flow of air after taking off the
mask.
Mask Fit Chk Displays a reminder to the patient to check the fit of the
mask if airflow was greater than 95L/Min for more than
10% of the previous therapy session (including vent
leak). The previous therapy session must be greater than
3 hours or a reminder will not be displayed.
Notifications Setting to enable mask/filter check notification.
Exit
Press the  button to exit and return to Clinical Menu.

Used to allow patient access to CPAP delay time setting.

Other Settings
Filter Cleaning Reminder – Displays a reminder to the patient to clean the filter
every 50 hours of use, or approximately every 10 days. This feature is controlled by
the notifications setting and is preset to enabled.
Other setup information
• This device features automatic altitude adjustment for altitudes up to 2743m
(9000ft) and needs no manual adjustment.

• This device features a pressure sensor therefore no fine pressure adjustments are
needed.
• The SmartLink Data Management System may be used for additional reminders and
notifications.

• Clear compliance meter by pressing Down key for eight seconds with compliance
meter shown (value will go to zero).
All device settings are immediately updated in the device as you make adjustments.
When finished press the ON/OFF button once to exit the Clinical Setup Menu.
