The E6 error code on the Midea MRQ22D7AST refrigerator indicates a communication failure between the main board and the display board. To fix this issue, try the following steps:

1. Power Cycle the Refrigerator – Unplug the refrigerator from the power source for a few minutes, then plug it back in and check if the error clears.
2. Check Connections – Ensure that the wiring connections between the main board and the display board are secure and undamaged.
3. Reset the Control Panel – If the refrigerator has a reset function, use it to restart the system.
4. Contact Customer Support – If the error persists, contact Midea customer service or a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.

If the refrigerator is under warranty, consider requesting service from an authorized Midea technician.

My control panel on the drawer has gone out. Due to this, neither ice maker is working and we can't adjust temps on anything. Is there a way to reset this? We have tried unplugging the fridge for 30 seconds. What else can I try? If I have to replace the control panel on the drawer, how do I do that?

We are seeing a EO on the display panel. We hold hold the control lock for seconds and it goes away. However it returns. Not sure what the EO means and how to get rid of it.
