5. Lift deck to highest position and make sure the
deck cover does not contact the drive belt
(minimum of 6 mm clearance.)
6. In case the cover does touch the drive belt, lower
deck slightly using adjusting bolts (#3 in Figure 14-
6) to adjust deck position
Ensure lifting rods are inserted into the holes as shown
in the following illustration.
Anti-Scalp Rollers
Use rollers to prevent lawn scalping. DO NOT use
rollers to control cutting height. To adjust roller:
1. Remove retaining clip and pin from roller bracket.
2. Adjust position of roller.
3. Reinstall pin and retaining clip.
4. Repeat steps for remaining rollers.
IMPORTANT: All rollers must be placed in same
position.

Installation of the flop holder
For operating the machine without the mowing deck, it
is important to install the flop holder.

Lift the flop. Insert holder into the prepared holes and
secure with pin (1).

LADES
Keep blades sharp for best mowing performance.
Always wear gloves when handling new or used
blades. Never use damaged blades. Check condition
of shear bolts. Replace any damaged or missing
shear bolts.
Take careful note of the orientation of the blade before
removal and during installation. They must be
installed in the correct orientation. Hint: Make a few
quick notes on a piece of paper, or make a mark
connecting the blade and spindle adapter, before
removing blades.
