RASS
Check the fullness of the grass container frequently
while mowing if not cutting in the automatic mode.
Make sure the container does not become overfilled
during operation, or the discharge chute may clog. It is
much easier to empty the container more frequently
than to unclog the discharge chute.

Figure 10-3
To empty the Standard Collector:
The grass container can be emptied only when the
engine is running and the blades (PTO) are
stopped!
1) Turn the blades off by pressing the PTO switch to
the off position.
2) Empty the grass container with lever (#1). The
grass container opens by pulling the lever up and
closes back down by pulling the lever down. Return
lever (#1) to standard position after the collector has
reached the end of motion.
3) The chute can be cleaned by lifting the lever (#2),
which operates the cleaning flap in the chute. The
cleaning flap should be used each time the grass
container is being emptied. The blades must be
stopped while using the cleaning flap!
