PTIONAL QUIPMENT
Lawn tractor must be parked safely before the
following equipment is installed.
Bumper
A bumper can be installed instead of the front hitch.
Fasten the bumper to the tractor at points X as shown
in the figure and secure with 4 bolts.

Rear Trailer Hitch:
Rear trailer hitch (1) is attached to the rear panel with
4 screws as shown in Figure 10-7. The trailer is
secure with hitch pin (2) and retaining pin (3)

OWING INTS
Mow in longitudinal and cross directions and slightly
overlapping previous cuts. This gives a better quality
cut and better final appearance.
When mowing tall grass or vacuuming debris, slower
speeds generally provide better results.
Keep the mower blades sharp and the mowing system
in good shape. Dull blades tear grass and leave a
white cast over a freshly cut lawn.
When mowing very tall grass, it is recommended to
mow twice. Mow very tall grass with the deck in the
highest operating position, and mow a second time to
cut the grass to the desired height.
Cut grass when it is dry. Wet grass may stick inside
mower pan and not discharge, mulch or bag properly.
Mower deck should be properly leveled for best
mowing performance.
Mow with engine set at full throttle to maintain proper
blade speed and air flow.
If engine RPM drops due to heavy mowing load, mow
at a slower speed, or increase cutting height. Lowered
engine RPM increases possibility of plugging.

IFFERENTIAL OCK
This machine can be equipped with an optional
Differential Lock for operating in difficult terrain or in
slippery conditions.
The Differential Lock control switch is located on the
right side of operator, beside the tunnel sweep lever
(See #8 in Figure 10-8). To engage the Differential
Lock press and hold the switch with your finger. To
disengage the Differential Lock, release the switch.
