Power Management (EIC-K7012ST(BK) & EIC-K7013ST(BK))
Power sharing function limits the maximum power used. The maximum available power
(preset) is shared between the cooking zones. If all zones are turned on, the power
management will not allow all zones to operate at full power but will alternate the power
among all zones so the total power will be equal to the preset maximum power. The change
will be visible on power level displays. The last command given to a cooking zone takes
priority on the power setting.
Model: ECH-K7012ST(BK)
This model comes with the total rated power of 2,900W. The left cooking zone maximum
power is 1,000W and right cooking zone has the maximum power of 1,800W without the
Boost function turned on. When the two cooking zones are turned on with the left cooking
zones has activated the Boost function, the power sharing function will turn off the right
burner as total rated power is exceeding 2,900W.
Inversely, when the right cooking zone has activated while left cooking zone has activated
the Boost function, the left cooking zone will turn off the outer zone and remain operational
on the inner zone so as to maintain the total power not exceeding the limit with a total of
2,900W.
Model: ECH-K7013ST(BK)
This model comes with the total rated of 4,100W. The left cooking zone maximum power is
1,100W, and middle cooking zone has the maximum power of 1,200W and right cooking
zone has maximum power of 1,800W without the boost function turned on. When three
cooking zones are turned on and activated the Boost function, the power sharing function
will not allow all heating zones to operate at full power. But will alternately supply power
between the cooking zone#1 or cooking zone#3, as total rated power exceeds 4,100W.
For example, when the Boost function is activated at cooking zone#1 and it is the last
operate, the cooking zone#3 will be turned off. When cooking zone#1 is not the last operate,
the boost function of cooking zone#1 will be turned off. The last operate of the selected
cooking zone takes the priority over the power setting.
