SAFETY INFORMATION

General Safety Rules
Read all instructions when using cordless snow thrower. Basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
NOTE: The following safety information is not meant to cover all possible conditions and situations
that may occur. Read the entire Owner's Manual for safety and operating instructions. Failure to
follow instructions and safety information could result in serious injury or death.
Keep work area clean and well lit – Cluttered, dark areas invite accidents.
Keep bystanders away – All bystanders and pets should be kept a safe distance away from the
work area.
Dress properly – Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can get caught in moving parts.
Protective rubber gloves and non-slip footwear are recommended when working outdoors.
Use the right product – Do not use this machine for any job except that for which it is intended.
CAUTION! – Exercise caution to avoid slipping or falling. Wear protective footwear that will
protect your feet and improve your footing on slippery surfaces.
Use safety glasses – Also use safety footwear, snug-fitting clothing, protective gloves, hearing
and head protection.
Do not force the snow thrower – Use the snow thrower at the rate for which it was designed to
ensure optimal performance and safe operation.
Stay alert – Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate the snow thrower
when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Do not overreach – Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
Store indoors – When not in use, the snow thrower should be kept dry and stored out of the reach
of children in a high or locked place.
Maintain snow thrower with care – Follow instructions for lubricating and changing
accessories.
