6.5 Voltage Transformers (V.T.s)
Connection of voltages higher than the rated voltage, that is specified
on the MultiLed data label, is possible using external V.Ts. These
transformers must be at least Class1 accuracy. The secondary of
these transformers must have the same nominal voltage as that
specified on the data label on the MultiLed. e.g. If the MultiLed
has voltage specified as 110 Volts Line to Line, then a Transformer
with Ratio of 6600/110 volt can be used, once this ratio has been
programmed into the MultiLed. But if the ratio was 6600/400V the
unit would have to be returned to the factory or distributor to have
internal component changes to cater for the 400V input.
