2.1

Product Overview

This manual provides instructions for installing and replacing the Jandy
TruGuard in swimming pools from a minumum of 19,000L (5,000 g) up
to a maximum of 170,000L (45,000 g).
TruGuard must be used in conjunction with a chlorine delivery device or
0.6 ppm of a PMRA registered chlorine pool product; it is not a standalone
purifier. A minimum chlorine level of 0.6 ppm must be maintained in the
swimming pool water for optimal swimmer health. The recipe included in
this manual will help ensure good water quality for your pool.
This product is not compatible with biguanide products or copper based
algaecide and should not be used in any manner inconsistent with the
product manuals and labeling.

Section 3.
Before installing a new TruGuard cartridge, clean debris and algae out of
the pool and pool equipment. Do not install the new cartridge until the pool
water is clean and chemically balanced. Refer to the Owner's Manual for
water balance instructions. The TruGuard housing fits 2" or 2 1/2" pipe sizes.
