ALARM MANAGEMENT

Alarms are indicated by an acoustic signal (if activated) and a message on the control panel.
In case of an alarm, shut down the boiler, eliminate the cause and restart the boiler according to the normal procedure described in
this manual.
Every alarm status causes immediate boiler shutdown.
The alarms, with causes and cures, which can appear on the control panel are listed below:

AL 1 No power during the
POWER FAILURE lighting and operation

AL 2 Occurs in case of a flame
FLAME PROBE temperature probe fault.
Occurs if the fume probe

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Disconnection from the grid.
Power failure in the grid.
Failure of electrical and electronic
components.
Probe fault.
The probe is disconnected from the
board.
Too many pellets.
Reduced heat exchange
in the system.
The fume fan is blocked.
Faulty speed control sensor.
No power to fume fan.
The pellet hopper is empty.
The heater is faulty, dirty or not correct-
ly positioned.
Pellet load setting incorrect.
The pellet hopper is empty.
The pellet loading gearmotor has to
adjust.
The gearmotor does not load pellets.
The safety thermostat has detected a
temperature above the setting thresh-
old due to overheating of the bottom
part of the hopper blocking gearmotor
operation.
The combustion chamber is dirty.
The fume duct is obstructed.
The fire door is not closed.
The overpressure valves are open-
stuck.
Faulty vacuum switch.
The combustion chamber is dirty.

The safety thermostat has detected a

SOLUTION
Turn the boiler OFF by pressing the
button P4 and repeat the lighting
procedure.
