OPERATION

Consult the vehicle owner's manual or the parts service manual for
instructions on installation and maintenance of the brake caliper system.
1.
Align the adapter plate's pins with the openings on the vehicle's caliper
piston and seat the plate.
2.
Slide the disk pad spreader back until it rests against the caliper's
forks. Rotate the tightening screw cap clockwise by hand to secure the
spreader so it does not slip. Finish tightening with a wrench.
3.
Open the brake's bleeder screw enough to let trapped air escape.
4.
Turn the handle clockwise to force the piston to rotate inward.
Continue to apply pressure until the piston no longer moves. Visually
confirm it is seated and not jammed. A jammed piston may require
replacement.
5.
Close the brake's bleeder screw.
