  • Page 2 Required Tools The following tools are required for assembly. • Cordless drill • 5/32" hex key or insert bit • Phillips head screwdriver or bit • Non-marring clamps (if not using two people) • 5/32" drill bits (included) • Tape measure - 3-3/4" (95 mm) long - 6" (154 mm) long Fasteners The fasteners shown below are contained in the hardware kits.   • Page 3 Assembly for Ultrastor Cabinets This procedure is for assembling the finished back kit onto Ultrastor cabinets only. STOP For assembly onto AcoustiCabinets, go to page 7. Before Attaching The finished back kit should be attached to upright standing cabinets using at least two people. The cabinets should already be leveled in their final location anchored and connected with any end cover panels attached as detailed in the Cabinet Storage Products Assembly Instructions 250B394. To help prevent scratching and mixing-up panels, leave the finished back panels in the STOP packaging until they are ready to be installed.

Wider "end" finished back panels will overhang the back edge of the cabinet and end covers at each end of the row. The outside edges of the finished back panels are indicated by a hole near the edge at the top and bottom of the panel as shown. The labeling on the packaging will also indicate intended panel locations. Locate the top edge of the panel to be flush with the top edge of the cabinet. b. Locate the pilot holes in the sides of the panel to be centered over both cabinet side panels (not any end cover panels) 3. Use clamps or at least two people to hold the finished back panel into position for the remaining assembly procedure. Attach the finished back panel to the sides and to drill 2" (51 mm) deep holes straight into the top of the cabinet using 7 x 50 mm hex socket side and top panels of the cabinet through the screws (1). existing pilot holes in the finished back panel. Be sure to use the correct fastener as STOP shown on page 2. Be sure to use the 3-3/4" (95 mm) long STOP drill bit.

Be sure that all of the insert nuts are facing up as shown. STOP 3. Attach the both ends of the top and middle/bottom panels to the side panels using two #10-16 x 1-1/2" pan head screws (3) and one 8 x 25 mm wood dowel (4). Fit the extension frame over the sound absorptive material pads and to be flush with the cabinet panels. b. Locate the top edge of the top panel to be flush with the top edge of the cabinet. c. Locate the pilot holes in the sides of the extension frame to be centered over both cabinet side panels (not any end cover panels) 5. Use clamps or at least two people to hold the extension frame into position for the remaining assembly procedure.
