The Brother HL-5270DN and HL-5280DW have the following basic network functions.

The print server provides printing services for Windows 95/98/Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000/XP

supporting the TCP/IP protocols and Macintosh supporting TCP/IP (Mac OS 9.1 to 9.2 / Mac OS X 10.2.4

or greater for a wired network and Mac OS X 10.2.4 or greater for wireless network).
The wireless network function is supported by the HL-5280DW only.

Management utility

BRAdmin Professional (for Windows )
The BRAdmin Professional utility provides powerful, easy to use configuration and management of network

BRAdmin Light (for Mac OS X 10.2.4 or greater)
BRAdmin Light is a utility for viewing printer status and configuring network settings from a computer running

Mac OS X 10.2.4 or greater. The BRAdmin Light software will be installed automatically when you install the
printer driver. If you have already installed the printer driver, you don't have to install it again.
