When you select "SAVE" and you press the Set button, you can enter
the following sub-setting menus to save the macros and fonts in the
installed card:
Display Message
SAVE DATA
SAVE MACRO
PRIMARY FONT
SECONDARY FONT
DOWNLOAD FONT
Note
If the capacity of the device becomes low while macros and fonts are
being saved, the display shows the "DEVICE FULL" error message and
they cannot be saved. Use a new device or delete unnecessary macros and
fonts from the card. The DEVICE LIST displays the contents and the
used capacity.
• Save Data
You can send data and save it on the devicce. In this mode, any kind of
data such as PCL data, BR-Script 2 data and command strings can be
saved. When you select "SAVE DATA" and you press the Set button,
the display shows the guide menu.
The guide menu message prompts you to press the Set button again so
that the printer exits from the data reception status when you have
finished sending data.
Send the data from your computer and then press the Set button.
Save Menu
Save data that the printer will receive and set its ID.
Save a macro. This menu appears only in the HP
PCL5C emulation mode.
Save the primary font selected with the Font button.
This menu appears only in the HP PCL5C emulation
mode.
Save the secondary font selected with the Font
button. This menu appears only in the HP PCL5C
emulation mode.
Save a download font. This menu appears only in the
HP PCL5C emulation mode.
