Operation Details
After one long beep, the MFC plays the
ICMs (Incoming Messages).
Press 1 while listening to an ICM to play it
again. Press 1 before a message to return to
the previous message.
While playing an ICM, you can skip to next
message.
Stop playing the ICM.
If you hear one long beep, the erase is
accepted. If you hear three short beeps, you
cannot erase because all voice messages
have not been played, or there is no voice
message to erase.
* This code erases all recorded messages,
not one at a time.
The MFC plays the OGM. To stop playing
the OGM, press 9.
After one long beep, start recording the
OGM. Your recorded message will be played
when you finish speaking. To stop recording,
press 9.
If you hear one long beep, the change is
accepted. If you hear three short beeps, you
cannot change the setting because the
conditions have not been met (Example:
registering paging number). You can register
your fax forwarding number by using 4.
FAX FWD NO (see page 12-14). Once you
have registered the number, the MFC will
automatically change to FAXFWD:ON
mode. Then retrieve a Memory Status List
by entering 961 (see page 12-13) to make
sure the list now shows the correct Fax
Forwarding number.
