Switching off for lengthy periods
Preliminary instructions
Deactivate the appliance exclusively from the con-
trol panel.
If the appliance is kept switched off during winter,
with an ambient temperature of less than 0°C and
you do not want to use glycol (for example ethylene
glycol) in the hydraulic circuit, it is recommended
that the entire system be emptied using the di-
scharge provided for in the installation phase and
the appliance through the specific discharge.
Operations
After deactivating the unit:
Position the remote switch to the "off" position.
Turn off the system's main switch.
Deactivate the interior terminal units by positioning
the switch of each appliance to the "off" position.
Close the water supply taps.
Close the hydraulic system shut off valves.
System drainage
Turn off the system's main switch.
Check that the system charging valve is closed.
Open the water discharge valve on the outside of the
appliance.
If the system has an anti-freeze liquid, this should
not be simply discharged as it should be treated as
special refuse.
Routine maintenance
Preliminary instructions
Regular maintenance is essential in order to main-
tain the unit efficiency and should be carried out
at least once a year by the Technical Service or by
qualified personnel.
Plan the maintenance schedule according to the in-
stallation characteristics and how the unit is used.
For units installed near the sea, the maintenance
intervals should be halved.
After carrying out the necessary maintenance work,
the original conditions should be restored.
Do not open the access covers to perform any main-
tenance or cleaning operation before having di-
sconnected the appliance from the mains electricity
network, by positioning the master switch on "off".

Désactiver l'appareil uniquement à partir du Pan-
neau de commande.
Si l'appareil reste éteint pendant l'hiver à des
températures ambiantes inférieures à 0°C et que
l'on ne veut pas utiliser de glycol (par exemple du
glycol d'éthylène) dans le circuit hydraulique, il est
recommandé de vider toute l'installation en effec-
tuant une évacuation en phase d'installation et
l'appareil à travers le système de évacuation prévu
à cet effet.
Opérations
Après avoir désactivé l'unité:
Mettre l'interrupteur à distance sur «éteint».
Mettre l'interrupteur général de l'installation sur
«éteint».
Désactiver les unités terminales internes en mettant
l'interrupteur de chaque appareil sur «éteint».
Fermer les robinets d'alimentation de l'eau.
Fermer les vannes d'arrêt de l'installation hydrauli-
que.

Vidange de l'installation

Mettre l'interrupteur général de l'installation sur
«éteint».
Vérifier si le robinet de remplissage de l'installation est
fermé.
Ouvrir le robinet de vidange de l'eau à l'extérieur de
l'appareil.
Si l'installation contient du liquide antigel, ce der-
nier ne doit pas être vidé n'importe où car il doit
être traité comme un déchet spécial.

Entretien ordinaire

Avertissements préliminaires
L'entretien périodique est fondamental pour que
l'appareil soit toujours efficace et il doit être effec-
tué au moins une fois par an par le Service Techni-
que Après-vente ou par un personnel qualifié.
Planifier la fréquence des interventions en fonction
des caractéristiques d'installation et du type d'uti-
lisation de l'appareil.
Pour les appareils installés à proximité de la mer,
les intervalles d'entretien doivent être réduits de
moitié.
Après avoir effectué les opérations d'entretien
nécessaires, rétablir les conditions d'origine.
Il est interdit d'ouvrir les volets d'accès et d'effec-
tuer toute intervention technique ou de nettoyage
avant d'avoir débranché l'appareil en mettant l'in-
terrupteur général de l'installation sur «éteint».
