In the BMC, the agent can obtain the server information such as network information, user
information, temperature/voltage/fan speed and so on through the SNMP service. At the
same time we can configure parameters and manage the server through BMC.

SNMPv3 supports authentication algorithm MD5 or SHA, and encryption algorithm to


8.6 Smash-Lite CLI

BMC supports Smash-Lite CLI, users can login to BMC via SSH and enter Smash-Lite CLI. And
it supports ipconfig, sensor, fru, chassis, user, mc, fan, psu, id, diagnose commands, as the
figure shows.
