PCM (Digital)
Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) decoders support L/R stereo only. If selected, audio outputs are
decoded and transmitted to the Digital Output (SPDIF) in PCM mode.
Dolby Digital
Dolby Digital
a coding technique that provides up to five independent, full frequency response audio chan-
nels and one low frequency bass channel. Dolby Digital signals are available only when pro-
vided by the broadcaster.
