This section contains a collection of tables that list the various nominal traits
that describe the AWG2021 Arbitrary Waveform Generator. Electrical and
mechanical traits are included.
Nominal traits are described not by equipment performance and limits but by
such things as memory capacity.
Description
Generates the waveform continuously.
Output quiescent until triggered by an external, GPIB or
manual trigger; then generates a waveform or sequence only
one time.
Same as triggered mode except periods are output for the
duration of the gated signal.
Output quiescent until triggered by an external, GPIB or
manual trigger; then generates a waveform or sequence
predefined count.
Continuously generates the waveform in the predefined
(edited) sequence and the next trigger advances the waveform.
Outputs the first waveform in the predefined Autostep File
once. The next trigger advances to output the next waveform
once and so on, for each successive trigger.
