1. Assemble equipment and locate modules to be removed:
a. You will need a screwdriver with a size T-15 TorxR tip and a
nut driver, a 5 mm nut driver, and a
procedure.
b. Locate the modules to be removed in the locator diagram, Internal
Modules, Figure 6–4.
2. Orient instrument: Set the AWG2021 with the bottom down on the work
surface and the back facing you (see Figure 6–16).
3. Remove rear shield cover:
a. Disconnect the ribbon interconnect cable from J30 on the A6 CPU
board. See Figure 6–16.
b. Using a screwdriver with a size T-15 TorxR tip, remove the five screws
securing the rear shield cover to the chassis from the back side.
c. Using a screwdriver with a size T-15 TorxR tip, remove the five screws
securing the rear shield cover to the chassis from the left side.
