I’ve had my Bosch GTA47W for a few years. It is great! Recently when trying to lower the blade the wheel turned but the blade did not go up or down. I want to fix it and **** looking for guidance.

The Bosch GTA47W is a support base for table saws, not the saw itself. It does not have blade adjustment features. If you are experiencing a blade adjustment issue, it is likely related to the saw mounted on the base, not the GTA47W. Check the saw's manual for blade adjustment instructions.

When I fold the table saw up, it is top heavy and tips forward. The stand does not seem to be long enough to balance the saw

To prevent your Bosch GTA47W table saw from tipping forward when folded, ensure that the stand is properly locked in place. When folding or unfolding, keep fingers clear of hinge points and follow these steps:

1. Slightly lift the stand by the handle bar.
2. Rotate the release lever down to clear the locking pins.
3. Pull up and push forward on the stand until it locks in the upright position.
4. When lowering, rotate the release lever and pull back slightly to disengage.
5. Use your foot to pull out the kick bar if needed.
6. Lower the stand carefully until it locks in position.

Always check that the stand is securely locked before moving or storing the table saw.
