Note
Most transmitters are calibrated in the upright position. Mounting the transmitter in any
other position will shift the zero point to the equivalent amount of liquid head pressure
caused by the varied mounting position. To reset zero point, refer to
Electronics housing clearance
Mount the transmitter so the terminal side is accessible. Clearance of 0.75-in. (19 mm) is
required for cover removal. Use a conduit plug in the unused conduit opening. Three
inches of clearance is required for cover removal if a meter is installed.
Environmental seal for housing
Thread sealing (PTFE) tape or paste on male threads of conduit is required to provide a
water/dust tight conduit seal and meets requirements of NEMA
Consult factory if other Ingress Protection ratings are required.
For M20 threads, install conduit plugs to full thread engagement or until mechanical
resistance is met.
Mounting brackets
Transmitters may be panel-mounted or pipe-mounted through an optional mounting
bracket. Refer to
