Fodder wagon cannot be designed in such a way to guarantee full safety as well as high work effectiveness. With that in mind, it is crucial that the user uses the machine in appropriate way and do not cause any danger to himself or other people.

Instruction manual Fodder wagons OptiFEED 6.2. POWER TAKE OFF It is recommended to use power take-off that came with the fodder wagon. If there is a need to change its length, please follow the manufacturer’s manual. It also refers to maintenance and lubrication.

Check if the power take-off’s covers are damaged or are stuck. Check if cover’s restraining device is mounted properly and will not be damaged anywhere or is not too strained.

MAINTENANCE In order to keep fodder wagon in standby mode, proper maintenance is required. Every day, before using the machine, perform a review.

In order to keep fodder’s quality high, avoid overloading the tractor and the wagon during the work, increase its longevity and reduce fuel consumption, check auger’s blades sharpness once a month. Damaged blades should be replaced as soon as possible.

Instruction manual Fodder wagons OptiFEED 8.8. DISTRIBUTOR’S LINES REGULATION Daily utilization of the fodder wagon may result in distributor’s lines elongating. It is a natural symptom. Adequately regulated distributor’s lines guarantee proper functioning of hydraulically controlled unloading windows. Improperly adjusted distributor’s lines may be the cause of improper closing or opening of the windows.

It is important to periodically check distributor’s lines proper adjustments on your own. 8.9. OIL LEVEL IN THE GEARBOX Every week oil level in the gearbox should be checked. It should oscillate between signs MIN and MAX.
