Service Diagnostic Mode/
Service Test Cycle
Allows service personnel to run the Service Test Cycle to verify
inputs to the dryer and functionality of the dryer control. You
may want to do a quick and overall checkup of the dryer with this
test before going to specific troubleshooting tests.
Activating Service Diagnostic Mode
IMPORTANT: Use Service Diagnostic Mode without laundry in
the dryer.
See the chart on
page 2-4
for a summary of the steps in the
Service Test Cycle.
To enter Service Diagnostic Mode:
1. Open and close the dryer door. The door must be closed to
enter Service Diagnostic Mode.
2. Be sure the dryer is in standby mode (plugged in with all
indicators off).
3. Press the following button sequence: [Timed Dry], [Dryness
Level],[Start]; [Timed Dry]. [Dryness Level], [Start]; [Timed
Dry], [Dryness Level], [Start] all within 8 seconds. Once the
sequence is complete, the display will read "Service Mode".
The display will go blank, and will have a 65 seconds delay
in activity before the automatic service cycle starts. During
this time, the service operator can enter in manual mode
by pressing [Timed Dry] for 5 seconds. Pressing [Timed Dry]

During this step, the Display will show "S1" and check the status
of the Master Relays by "clicking" on the relays. This step lasts for

S2
During this step, the display will show "S2" and will check the
status of the drain pump. After a short 5 seconds delay, the pump
will turn on for 30 seconds, draining what water is left in the
dryer sump into the water bottle or drain hose.
S5
Checks the motor status while showing "S5" in the display; this
routine starts the motor movement in a clockwise direction and
runs for 20 seconds before proceeding to the next step.
S7
Checks the motor status in the opposite direction of "S5"
while showing "S7" in the display; this routine starts the motor
movement in a counter-clockwise direction and runs for
20 seconds before proceeding to the next step.
S11
During this step, the display will show "S11" and will check the
status of the water level sensor. After a short 5 seconds delay, the
routine will check the measured water level in the sump against
what should be present after the pump out in S2.
Service Cycle Outcome (PASS or FAIL):
On the display, the service cycle will show the results of the
service cycle steps.
END will show on the display once the service cycle is completed.

During any part of the service cycle, push button 3 for 5 seconds
to display the last fault. Pressing the button again will display the
next fault stored. To exit this state, push button 3 for 5 seconds,
and the machine will return to the service cycle.
Activation with Saved Fault Codes
If there is a saved fault code, the F number will be shown in the
display. Only one active fault code can be displayed. If no fault
codes are stored, the display shows "S07" and "F00" alternately.
Review the Fault/Error Codes beginning on
