Automatic lowering feature
Vehicles with a panoramic sliding sunroof: If
the sliding sunroof is raised at the rear, the slid‐
ing sunroof is automatically lowered slightly at
higher speeds. At low speeds, it is raised again
automatically.
& WARNING Risk of entrapment by auto‐
matic lowering of the sliding sunroof
At high speeds the raised sliding sunroof
automatically lowers slightly at the rear.
Problem
The sliding sunroof cannot be closed
and you cannot see the cause.
This could trap you or other persons.
Make sure that nobody reaches into the
#
sweep of the sliding sunroof whilst the
vehicle is in motion.
If somebody becomes trapped, briefly
#
push the sliding sunroof button for‐
wards or backwards.
The sliding sunroof lifts during opening.
Possible causes/consequences and
& WARNING Risk of becoming trapped or fatal injury by closing the sliding sunroof again
If you close the sliding sunroof again immediately after it has been blocked or reset, the sliding sunroof
closes with increased force.
Parts of the body could become trapped in the closing area in the process.
Make sure that no parts of the body are in the closing area.

Release the button immediately if somebody becomes trapped.
