To apply:
Switch off the ignition and turn it back on.

Apply the electric parking brake manually (

If it is not possible to apply the electric parking brake:
Visit a qualified specialist workshop.

Where necessary, also safeguard the parked vehicle against rolling away.

The yellow ! and the red F (USA only) or ! (Canada only) indicator lamps are lit. The electric parking
brake is malfunctioning.
To release:
Switch off the ignition and turn it back on.

Release the electric parking brake manually (

Release the electric parking brake automatically .

If it is still not possible to release the electric parking brake:
Do not continue driving under any circumstances. Consult a qualified specialist workshop.
