Bring the vehicle to a standstill with the

service brake.
On uphill or downhill inclines, turn the front

wheels so that the vehicle rolls towards the
curb if it starts moving.
Apply the electric parking brake.

Engage transmission position j in a station‐

ary vehicle with the service brake applied
(
page 136).
Switch the ignition off.

Release the service brake again.

Lock the vehicle.

operate the side windows and the panoramic
sliding sunroof for approximately five
minutes if the driver's door is closed.
