Switching the rear window wiper on/off

Single wipe: press button 1 to the point of

resistance.
Wiping with washer fluid: press button

beyond the point of resistance.
Switching intermittent wiping on or off:

press button 2.
The è symbol appears on the instrument
cluster when the rear window wiper is
switched on.
Changing the windshield wiper blades
& WARNING Risk of becoming trapped if
the windshield wipers are switched on
while wiper blades are being replaced
If the windshield wipers begin to move while
you are changing the wiper blades, you can
be trapped by the wiper arm.
Always switch off the windshield wipers
#
and the ignition before changing the
wiper blades.
Moving the wiper arms into the change posi‐
tion
Switch the ignition off.

Within around 15 seconds, press the î

button on the combination switch for around
3 seconds ( page 113).
