The brake system will continue to operate normally. The braking distance may increase in an emergency braking
situation.

If ABS and ESP are malfunctioning, the wheels could lock when braking and ESP
stabilization.
The steering capability and braking characteristics are thus severely impaired. The braking distance in an emer‐
gency braking situation can increase. In addition, other driving safety systems are switched off.
