Other maintenance work:
• If the vehicle is not operated for an extended period, put 2 - 3 drops of afterrun oil into the motor through the glow
plug opening. Then turn the motor a few times by the cable pull. The special care oil removes aggressive combus-
tion residue and protects the motor from corrosion.
• If the vehicle is transported or not used for an extended period (e.g. in winter), remove the fuel from the tank. Use,
e.g. the corresponding electrical tank pump for model vehicles for this.
The fuel is not only a safety risk (danger of fire and explosion) but draws moisture if standing for a longer
time or the methanol/nitromethane will evaporate. This leads to starting problems or a badly running motor.

Disposal

a) General Information

Electronic devices must not be disposed of in the domestic waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries/rechargeable batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.

b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries

You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries. Dis-
posing of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with the adjacent sym-
bol to indicate that disposal in the household waste is prohibited. The descriptions for the respective heavy
metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the names are indicated on the battery/rechargeable bat-
tery e.g. below the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left).
You may return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points of your community,
in our stores, or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
