Replacing the cup gasket

The cup gasket must be replaced periodically due to normal wear. It
is important to inspect the cup gasket during each cleaning.
1. Release the cup locking lever (Fig. 25, item 1).
2. Hold the cup and twist the spray gun in the direction
indicated by the arrows on the bridge (2).
3. Lift the spray gun away from the cup.
4. Pull the worn cup gasket (3) out of the lid (4).
5. Press a new cup gasket (3) into the lid (4).
6. Place the spray gun onto the top of the cup.

7. Turn the spray gun opposite the direction indicated by the
arrows on the bridge until the pegs on the cup are in the
notches of the bridge (2).
8. Tighten the cup locking lever (1).

Replacing the gun head seal and gun body
O-ring
1. Remove the spray gun head (Fig. 26, item 1) from the gun
body [2] (refer to instructions on page 17).
2. Pull the old gun head seal (3) from the gun body (2). Do not
install the new one yet.
3. Using a 7/64 inch hex wrench, remove the two gun body
insert screws (4). Remove the gun body insert (5).
4. Remove the gun body O-ring (6) from the gun body (2). You
may need to use a needle-nose pliers or some other long, thin
object to remove it from the gun body.
Make sure this area of the gun body is free from all
spray material residue before reinstalling the new
gun body O-ring.
5. Lubricate the new O-ring with petroleum jelly and install into
the gun body.
6. Replace the gun body insert (5) and secure with the gun body
insert screws (4).
7. Install the new gun head seal (3) into the gun head body as
shown.
8. Reassemble the spray gun head (1) onto the gun body [2]
(refer to instructions on page 15).
