3. Calibration
Requirements
•
Computer with USB2.0 or higher
•
USB drivers installed (installed with Dataview software)
•
HyperTerminal (or other terminal emulation program)
•
One set of standard test cables
•
Shunt 200mVx200A (1000μΩ)
•
Shunt 5Vx10A (500mΩ)
Entering Calibration Mode
1. Connect the USB cable from the computer to the powered off AEMC 6292.
2. Launch HyperTerminal.
3. Configure HyperTerminal Com Port as shown below (same as Control Panel > Device Manager).

57600 bps, 8 bits, No Parity, No Flow Control
4. Start the connection in HyperTerminal.
5. Press and hold the STOP key.
6. Power on the instrument, while pressing the STOP key.
7. When the auto tests complete, release the STOP key.
8. The following screen will be displayed.
